are a seven piece funk soul and groove band, currently located in Sydney Australia. Fronted by Anita Spring, whose sassy vocals and dynamic persona is well known on the Australian pop scene, the band’s style is deeply rooted in the infectious funk grooves of the 1970’s. Passionate about delivering the funk in everything they do, the six piece band features some of the best known veterans of the Sydney jazz and blues scene, with Anita on vocals, Nathan Giddons on guitar, Christian Young on bass, Andy Davies on drums, Todd Hardy on Trumpet and Stephan Shafer on sax. Anita’s career in pop music includes being signed to Universal Records and having a top forty hit in the 2003/2004 with the song Blink, but more recently, she has enjoyed success in the jazz realm, both in Australia and internationally. Together, their repertoire spans over four decades, and includes an eclectic range of material from Stevie Wonder to Rhianna, Marvin Gaye to Beyonce, all delivered with their own unique and funky style.
